Brice Branton went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the loss, while Ollie Tingelhoff was 2-for-3.
The Panthers (9-17 overall), who were scheduled to play at Lanier on Tuesday, close the season with games at North Forsyth Wednesday (April 17, 6 p.m.) and Shiloh Friday (April 19, 5:55 p.m.).

The Panthers’ loss to Apalachee followed a 5-2 setback at Habersham Central on Friday in region play. The Raiders plated five unanswered runs to take the win.
Sam Bradley and Brody Strickland led the Panthers with multi-hit efforts. Bradley went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs, while Strickland was 2-for-2 with a double. The Panthers finished with seven hits.
Jackson County jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the top of the first, but the Raiders answered with three runs in the bottom half of the inning. Habersham Central added two more scores in the fifth.
